The Grand Prize Winner, CMT Listeners' Choice Award Winner and Finalists have been announced for the 8th Annual CMT/NSAI Song Contest. The contest is an international songwriting competition, offering thousands of dollars in prizes, that accepts all genres of music.

Diana Kelley of Nashville received Grand Prize honors for her song “Hard To Stumble.”  A transplant from Northwest Indiana, Diana is a seasoned writer's night performer who has attended NSAI’s Spring Symposium, SONGPosium and Song Camp series.  Among many additional prizes, Diana will be awarded an exclusive mentoring session with hit songwriters/artists Dave Berg, Jim Peterik, Matt Scannell.

The song "Come Around" by bandmates Joey Avaros and Chris Cleveland received 27 percent of the votes to emerge as the favorite in the CMT Listeners' Choice Award.  Joey is from Gilbert, Ariz.  Chris is from Tulsa, OK.  Their band, Stars Go Dim, is set to release their first full-length EP in this summer.  Music fans across the world were able to log on to www.CMT.com between Feb. 20 and March 10, 2008, to listen to songs from the contest's 15 finalists. Fans then voted on their favorite song, giving contest entrants a second chance to win big. The CMT Listeners' Choice Award competition received 60,000 online votes.

The complete list of winners, including all finalists, runners-up and honorable mentions are listed below.  Congratulations to all our winners!  (Please note: All songs, regardless of placement, will receive numerical judging reports, which will be sent via U.S. Mail after the April 1-5 Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival.)
